Students who intend to participate in the institution’s degree program and have strong academic records are eligible to apply for the Clarendon Scholarships.
More than five hundred Clarendon Scholarships are given to enrolled students from almost seventy different countries. Successful applicants receive living expenses, housing costs, tuition, a book allowance, and a research allowance from the program.
The primary goal of the Clarendon Scholarship is to provide financial support to bright students who have demonstrated academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Clarendon Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements;
- Applicants must have a good academic record. The majority of successful scholars usually have at least a first-class honors degree or its equivalent. For example, a GPA score of at least 3.7, if the mark is out of 4, noting that a lot of the Clarendon scholars achieve higher than this score.
- Applicant’s future academic potential and aptitude of the proposed course of study; usually derived from reviewing candidate’s references and research proposals.
- Candidates will be assessed through evidence of the applicant’s commitment to the proposed course as well as evaluation of the personal statement and the referees’ reports.
